Continuity of Thought

Good morning! and it is from here, the ice melting, the air warming, the Sun blazing — yeah! We had great walkies tho it was hard getting about with the ice still, but it should be gone very soon.

So, there is this other blog, in which I had started to write about creativity and God and well, all sort of stuff — I tried to figure out how to import it all here, but to no avail.  The easiest thing to do is to link it:

I’ll go forward from here, as if you’ve read all that, not really so much since I had just started.

Today it truly feels as though these statements from The Artist’s Way‘s Basic Principles are true:

Creativity is the natural order of life. Life is energy: pure creative energy.

That’s the way I feel after I’ve done meditation with crystals: I can do anything!

So starting out today with the new pastel/painting, below is how I left it last night, really enjoying the abstraction of the curves and sensual shadows of the mountain ranges.  Turns out this photo was taken in the Valley of the Moon in Atacama. Lovely image!

It’s truly a pity about the taped areas, but the mat would come over that for framing. If you click on the picture, it will show you a larger one.
