Hey there, Hi there, Ho there! What a wild ride it’s been!

I am thrilled to have been accepted into the following show at Galerie Myrtis, in Baltimore, MD: “Emergence: Contemporary Artists to Watch!” Two of my industrial photograph from the July shoot in Nashville last year were selected. The exhibition dates are March 11 through April 30. The Opening Reception will be on Saturday, March 12, from 2-7 pm. Additionally, there will be an Artist Talk on Saturday, April 9, from 5-7 pm. More details as I have them, but I do hope you can join us for the opening and/or the Artist Talk.
Also, I donated three framed metallic prints of red cannas from our garden to this year’s American Heart Association, Heart Gala, which was held this past Saturday. They were well received, and to quote a guest, “snapped up like hotcakes.” Awesome!
The solo show of my current tropical landscapes has been postponed for later in the year. The Menare Foundation will still hold its benefit concert on February 13, however. So, stay tuned for more information on this.
I’ve completed two paintings from a photograph by a friend, Natalia Mercer, of the Valley of the Moon, in Atacame, Chile.

Jason and I didn’t get the flu shot this year and boy do we regret it now, for we both came down with a massive flu for the past two weeks. Ack! But hopefully we are on the mend now and when I’m better this time I AM getting the flu shot. No more playing around. I have gotten it for the past four years or something and didn’t get sick once.
Well, that’s all the news for now. Please do jot me a note to catch me up on how you all are when you get a chance!
