Split Sky

Woke up last night with a migraine at 11 pm so immediately wrapped my head in ice, then Jason woke up and advised me to take another Lunesta … out — I’ve been having daily headaches for about two weeks now.  Frustrating and trying not to let it limit my activities.

Just back from the doctor — they needed more blood for testing, because my red blood cell count is low.  I’m prolly anemic again, as I was as a child, and 2-3 times as an adult, which we would find out before a surgery. No biggie.

On the way, high winds and split white/charcoal sky, but I went on ahead — hey, I grew up in Tornado Alley in GA and lived in TN for many years. Not to say that I didn’t watch the splits for funnels. Went through Seneca Forest and it smells so lovely and woodsy for several blocks.

Was headed for swimming after that, but the headache was prohibitive. Argh.

On the way back home the sky had split to rain, softly, nice.

Now I’m going to rest with a warm heat pad on my head and hope for the best. Would love to paint and sing and write today. We’ll see what I’m up for.

Hey, I did call the GM and left a message to see if I can take industrial photos — couldn’t wait. Fingers crossed for a positive callback and outcome on this. Sooo excited.
