A day so unlike yesterday! Pain levels are way down! I had a spike when we saw a pit bull being walked in the distance but the owner saw us and walked in the other direction, thankfully, and soon the level was back down from spike to seven, to five, by the time Chipper was pensing, ie, je pense, by the bog, in the mist … lovely.
I journalled heavily this morning which was much needed, and was very weak in the knees and emotionally afterward and had to rest for a while. So strange, I’m so weak, and so restless, my heart races, urging me on.
Started the pastel work, as you can see below, on the Pedernal piece, and am using various bright brushes to blend with. I’m sensing that I’m being too delicate and need to be bolder, so stay tuned. I’m in such awe of this mountain, you see.
It looks a bit like a giraffe at the moment. I wonder if you click on the image if you can see the pencil work above? I hope so. I want to ground the shrubs in the foreground more but am waiting to see if they need to float a bit at the end as they do now. We shall see.
I am going to rest a bit now, then up and down, up and down, for the rest of the day, and may blog again with progress. We’ll see how things go. Thanks for listening in! Take care!
