But for the Wiring …

I decided you can’t go wrong with a touch of purple when you’re on the island. Quite cheery. Hope you can see it? In the photo, the sea goes all the way up to the top peak and blends with the sky, hmmm. I may have to make that happen. We shall see.

Heavy pain day. Peaked last night for no good reason and started by waking up, after sleeping very well thankfully, with a level nine. Didn’t want to get out of bed at all. But the lure of a sunny warm day got me up. Walkies were lovely both times, the morning and the afternoon.

We have been having this odd electrical breaker problem to the fridge and several appliances since Friday that we couldn’t figure out until today. We are most blessed that they today pulled out the refrigerator to find loose wiring was melting the switch and the wires back there that would eventually have burned us all UP! Yow! We had no idea! So we are very thankful that that was discovered and resolved. We have no renter’s insurance — looked into it and can’t afford to insure all of our equipment and artwork for nearly what they’re worth, much less for a quarter of what they’re worth to replace — so we would have been starting from scratch. So very blessed.

Hey, so did you see that we have this Call for LIFE/ART as of yesterday on a rolling deadline through January 31, 2012? Well, we do:

Calling all of you, poets, artists, thinkers, doers, everyone — we are gathering and gathering — we intend to write a smallish grant since we have all we need except for an external hard drive and a happy editor to work with us to pull it all together for a documentary to release in 2013-14 or so, if not earlier — you know these editing projects in Final Cut Pro they do taketh the time.

Anyhoo — lots of exposure and we will credit your work, so create, document, submit! but have fun living!
