Had so much fun creating the new palette of all my blue pigments yesterday, along with Titanium White, as well as a good smattering of Acrylic Glazing Liquid (Gloss). The original photo doesn’t look like this, but once I had gotten past the sketch and started painting, I began a familiar balancing act I tend to do, putting one color down, then putting it on the opposite end, and spacing it in the middle, of the canvas, to balance it between the other colors that will come. Because that color that I have just put down is ephimeral and will dry, will be hard to replicate, because I mix tiny batches at a time, and I have learned to do this over time.
I’m loving how fresh this palette is, how cooling it is to the senses already. Surprises are on the way. Stay tuned!
Had the cystoscopy this morning and no tumors were found! Yay! My urine sample will be sent for pre-cancer test called FISH and I’ll either see the doctor in three months, if positive, or six months (for three years) if negative, for routine follow-ups, unless I start bleeding again. I am in good hands, and post-procedure am doing fine. I am blessed!
