This will be the next pastel I tackle. Again, I have a nicely framed, this time, metallic, print of this industrial photograph ready to come to your home! hee — roughly 16 x 20 inches. So just get in touch …
The pastels and the glassine arrived early today. I came home from a much-needed counseling appointment this afternoon, and there they waited for me on the porch. Thank you! I just sorted the reds and ochres and browns into the very full now Artbin and they are glowing. YUM!
I’m going to spend a bit more time finishing edges of Splash with Cobalt Teal and Roatan with Prussian Blue and then … well, maybe another acrylic, not to waste the paint that’s left there on the palette. Two more canvases left. I rather enjoyed the smoothness and sensuality of the painting lately. We shall see.
Not a trace really of the hateful feelings today. Not so much of the sinus pain either today, either, but definitely with the migraine still. Mostly a bruised emotional feeling and there was lots to go over in the counseling session, as you can imagine, and so much more, so much more than you could ever imagine really, in the session today. Listened to King of Limbs after while Jason and Chipper napped for a while. Watched Love and Other Drugs for a while and now dinner is crackling in various pots and in the oven, thanks to Jason.
Mostly in a state of suspended disbelief. Mostly in love with color. Excited about the pastels, Summer, life again. Not sure how the mystery and magic works. I’ll take it. Thanks for hanging in with me for the ride, with its twists and turns, ups and downs.
