Utah Pastel V, Faith

Making progress! Now just the beautiful pinnacle in the foreground to detail out. I’m excited to finish. I hope you like! I love how easily the pine colors come through with the pastels, which is so difficult with watercolor. Thoroughly LOVE this piece.

So my bloodwork came through clean and clear, so I’m fine for a CT scan, but need a preauthorization from the insurance company, so that is held out until Monday at 11 AM. I have my choice of Mocha Cappucino Barium drink at the ready in the fridge, doncha know. They have citrus or berry or something else. Took a few seconds to decide. Heh. Anyhoo.

I have an appointment with the new gastrointerologist at 2 PM on Friday for a consultation for an endoscopy to check for gastritis and ulcers on the front end, and to check across the board for all the medicines I take, I’m assuming, to see if they are causing any of this. ? I’m hopeful. Jason and I have faith that someone is going to being able to figure out why I’m still in so much pain.

I am taking Tramadol now every 4 hours but it really doesn’t work, just makes me a tad less grumpy. Yay. My pain level stays around about 7. I’ve been resting so much lately I just had to do the pastel work this morning despite the pain I am in to make some progress so it would be easier to rest, even though it hurts even laying down. I thought I was going to pass out walking Chipper this morning it hurt so much at first but eventually it evened out and warmed up inside.

Crazy pain. I hope we figure this out.

A small bunny came to our screen door on Saturday and tried three times to jump in. Adorable. Especially when it cleaned cob webs off of its whiskers. We put carrots out in water but too late I guess. Didn’t see it again the next day. But what a treasure to see.
