We ended up not making it to the Rothko exhibit with our friend, but we did a) sleep in and b) have a productive morning so far. I finished Here, above, which I will post as Finitti tomorrow am. Jason is transferring amazing mix work he did back in the day from DAT to the laptop: right now the first Mingus recording of his posthumous work, a 3 hour piece. Amazing. There is more. Much more.
Me, I forgot to take the pain meds at 5 am so I’m in more pain than usual since I took them at 9, and will take again at 3. Argh! Not doing so well, but at least I finished the painting to my liking.
Beautiful day and I was thinking of getting out, by walking for a decaf latte to Starbucks, a goodly walk, but just don’t feel well, so will be in bed in a bit. Still, it’s a good Sunday.
