Wild Peony VI – II

So I figured out what I did to my right foot. I was running across the street with Chipper recently (?) not sure what day, in my Ugg clogs, not meant to be running shoes, to avoid being hit by a sudden and uncaring, unfeeling black SUV. Dare I say unresponsive? Usually they respond to the hand in the air signalling STOP as a policeman would, but no go for this one. Had completely forgotten about it until this morning when I flashed on it. So, well, mystery solved. Quite embarrassing. But it is quite the gauntlet. Speed limit is thirty mph and we do our damnedest to look for cars, etc. But not this one, no.

So it’s going to take a while to heal. Well at least I know now what I did.

Counseling went well, going over last details about the surgery and two things from my journal from back in the day that I still felt guilty about — again, whew!

Had some energy for it, so entered the details of art expenses and such into the spreadsheet for taxes, neatening up the floor a bit, but have just reached my limit on that. More tomorrow, I guess.

Now for some fun painting? Yah.

Turned her on her side for a different perspective, of flight, even. Hmmm.
