Wild Peony VI – IV

Wind chill of 8 degrees this morning … very short walk with Chipper in his leopard print sweater, me bundled up so we were fine until the wind blew. No worries though, great to be outside, relatively free.

Cherishing the things I can do before the surgery, you know?

Soon enough, weeks from now, I’ll be doing them again and will cherish them just as much.

We are going to get some Neutral Gray acrylic paint today so I can finish the edges of several Wild Peony acrylic paintings, and they can move along from the studio to storage ultimately. Yay!

Heard back from the local publisher on Friday and it will be several months before they can get to my manuscript, no worries and get better soon — a nice response, I thought. So that’s good.

Had a case of the nerves last night, where I was listening to mellow music on the IPod and in pain, could hardly get a good breath in. Fortunately Jason emailed me to “Feel Better” from the other room and I emailed him a long message from the bed and he came in for a much-needed shoulder and neck massage. Good on him!

At first I didn’t want to paint at all today. Had the hardest time deciding on which neutral and pop colors to finish the painting. And it may not be finitti. So …

This is where my visual art will stop before the surgery, and where it will pick up, nobody knows! hee hee …
