It is still a bit chilly today but the wind is significantly down, so much better. The Sun is out and it has turned out to be a beautiful day. Just back from the local bookstore where they say they are sending my book up to the local book fair! Nice. In May or so. More deets as we get closer. So that was a nice surprise.
Now I’m about to paint for a bit here at 12:30 pm and then rest. I had a bit of time this morning getting ready without my collar and I have a bit of pain but not so much that I need a painkiller, just more rest, I think.
We got a wonderful dual biography of Frederick Douglass and President Lincoln for Jason. So excited for him. Sounds like such an inspiring read, truly.
Jason watched Rum Diaries for me last night and this morning to make sure it was okay for me to watch. He says it is, so we will watch around four this afternoon, although I sooo can’t stand animals set to fight each other, much less wrestling and the like. Oh well. I’m hoping we can see a bit of the Oscars as well.
Yet again, quite the time deciding on the puzzle piece colors and getting them in actuality. Time to rest with the twisty neck. 🙂
