Also inspired by Lincoln County, Tennesse — where I was humbled by wet, multi-colored rocks, on my way back from a training, enough to stop and, not seeing the “Watch for Falling Rock” (which are all over Tennessee anyway), ignoring the honking trucks (which are all over the South for one reason or another anyway), and take a roll of photos.
Mmmmmm, lovely colors. My counselor saved last year’s calendar for me, which has a photo one month of a scene of an Arizona waterfall. Just a random photo that says, “Arizona”, but has dark and milk chocolate, and caramel for that matter, mountains. She gave it to me on Friday, I put it in my purse, and thankfully walked it back home.
I think it gave me my art bug back. How Amy got her art bug back.
So, I’ve been unable to rest today, having slept so very well last night, cleaning things, putting away groceries with Jason after he got back, doing some light recycling, some social media commentary here and there. And this sketch, which I did lightly on a piece of 8 x 10, looks nothing like it, last night:
I’m so very excited to add colors! This is a first for mountain colors, as I’ve done sea colors with these shapes before … woo!
