Hey can you even TELL what I did? MMM. That’s frustrating. I finished the sky. Maybe click on her. Anyhoo. I did.
Someone came home from partying last night and woke me up at 1:30 am and I couldn’t get back to sleep, try as I might, achity. MMM. Oh well. But I have all kinds of energy today. So painting, will rest now for a bit. My shoulder is hurting a LOT painting today. Had to turn the sky on her side to get her done.
Then will get back to the art inventory database. So far she has 78 paintings in her, up to the 2004-5 period. So when people ask me how many paintings, I will be able to finally say. That’s something, eh?
Beautiful day. Chipper decided with me to cross the slow street, which is usually horrible in the weekday mornings with fast cars, and we went back a little of our old long ways. Just a little. It was AWESOME to see him catching up on olde scentways. Not sure how much of that we can do. Poor dude wore himself out in a heartbeat, on the trail, and in the heat, even though it was way early. Not sure what to do. It’s a quality of life issue, for sure. I want him to be happy. We’ve already decided that when the pain med is almost out that we’ll take him back for a check-up to see what we should do next, like more tests, a procedure, what? He’s really sore and achey above the pit bull scar area when I try to massage him there. Makes sense. I feel helpless. It’s really hard to cope with and I’m trying to stay positive for his sake. Little dude. Bright star in my life. Great, dear friend and companion of all my days.
The garden is abundant. I clipped fresh basil, sage, lemon oregano, regular oregano, lemon thyme and rosemary for Jason to cook with this morning. He’s making hamburgers for Memorial Day and a rotisserie chicken with herbs. The place already smells amazing. He got me lots of vino. Hello. Happy Holiday. May there be peace. Let there be.
