Philippine Lagoon II

Here I’ve developed the mountain to the left, by first painting it underneath, gray and black, which I resisted at first, then painting over with my premixed colors of darker green and my fave of LIME. Then I painted to it’s left with Chromium Green, more dark green and more wild LIME! Woo.

My meeting went incredibly well this morning. Now I can tell you all, indeed, the world, that Takoma Park, MD is the city where The Front Porch, my second novel will take place! The city leader with whom I met was most warm and gracious and gave me all sorts of lovely resources and contact information with which to begin my research in the coming weeks and months. I’m beyond excited, I’m gratified. It is my sincerest hope to write a character study worthy of such a graceful gesture. Indeed. Indeed. 🙂

Okay. Now I’m beat, really. I must rest.
