So I got on a whirl and finished this in about an hour. Whew! I started with three shades of brown for the detrus, the end of change, the death, as it were, then the middle section of growth, which scared me a great deal. Thinking I had lost the painting right away, I tried three or four greens, trying to match the green yellow of the foto, which I just finally had to go away from completely, which you can see, from yesterday’s blog, I did go away from, quite playfully. Fun! Even adding, metallic gold, two shades of yellow, and red? Hee.
I’ve been disoriented and not WITH it, really all day, until this painting came about. In pain and just ready to go back to bed. It’s been raining off and on and I’m just in the mid-funk. Lots of voices and flashbacks. Bah. Not able to do much or get into much.
Yet, I achieved a painting in an hour. Hey. All is not lost.
In the meantime, Jason has been cooking up chicken enchiladas like nobody’s business. He is worn out in different way.
Chipper is quite snuggly and well-kissed and cared for.
That’s the day.
I also wrote the text for the audio for the Artprize 2013 recording which we will do before August 2.
Sorry to be so pooky. Back still giving me trouble, too.
