What? How did that happen in a day from sketch to completed painting? I’m not exactly sure? Really, but it did. You were there. The photo doesn’t do justice to the delicacy of the left section, btw. Oh well. You just have to buy it! Right?
Slept well last night. Although I kept dreaming, very morbidly I must say, realizing this is the third night in the row, of euthanizing alters in various ways. Gah! Then, I woke with this wonderful, of course I think so, community fundraising idea for a dance company. If you are interested, lemme know. Free idea! That is all I will say. It was quite refreshing to have the brainstorm after so much death, I must say — bleah!

It is a beautiful and fresh day today. I got up at 6 am, since I had the idee at 4:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep, don’t you know. So I’m quite the ball of fire today. I have the appointment with the spine surgeon at 10:20 and Chipper’s last laser treatment at 1:30. May try the cold mmm pool at some point but I don’t relish the thought. I’m still very very achey and my right shoulder was very painful overnight. A call into the shoulder surgeon said that it takes 7-10 days for the cortisone shot to take effect. ‘Kay. Rowrh.
So, will most likely start a new sketch and painting soonish, like in a few minutes? I’m on a roll! The painting above was created from a photograph expertly taken by … Claudio Alvarado Solari. Lest we forget.
